The Congregation of Sisters of St. Ann was founded by a noble couple, the Marquis (Carlo Tancredi) and the Marehioness (Giulia Colbert) of Borolo in the year 1834, in Turin Italy, for the noble cause of educating and forming children and young girls belonging to the needy and less-wealthy families with the conviction that poverty and illiteracy are the two main evils of the society and educating children will influence the whole family.
St. Ann is the Patroness of our college. She is the model of all Mothers and Educators as her daughter Mary became the Mother of Jesus Christ. She is also the Patron Saint of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Ann.
St. Ann’s Junior college, Bolarum, is being run by the Congregation of The Sisters of St. Ann. The college is granted recognition by the Board of Intermediate Education vide letter No. Rc. No. 208/E-4-2/2000 Dt. 9-1-2001

Sr. Charlotte Siqueira, the then Provincial Superior.
